This formula is intended for nocturnal emission (wet dream) and spermatorrhea (unintentional leakage of semen); it can also be used urinary dribbling. It is also helpful for ejaculation control recommended in Daoist sexual practices. It is not intended as a root treatment for nocturnal emission, which include deficiency of kidney yang, deficiency of jing or deficiency of kidney yin. In cases of deficiency fire, combine with Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan or Da Bu Yin Wan.
